If you are asking what the OSTC4 is equipped with then the website says
“ Bühlmann ZH-L16+GF und VPM-B
Two deco models for all needs of technical diving”

Re: Cannot connect 2C and 2N to windows 11 laptop
I’ve had some issues in the past where some USB cables work for data AND charging but some other USB cables only seem to work for charging. Could be as simple as trying a different cable. Use one that you know has transmitted data before like a camera or Kindle cable.

Re: Cannot connect 2C and 2N to windows 11 laptop
I always thought it was these drivers that were needed to be installed to give you the relevant com port when the computer is plugged in, make sure you are using a good cable too, some cables are only power cables whereas some other cables are data and power.

This is I believe a design change, both buttons needed to turn it on.

Screen on one device seems a lot dimmer than another
In our house we have 2 OSTC Plus computers, one running the sport firmware (my girlfriends) and one running the tech firmware (mine). I took them both on a dive at the weekend and the computer running the sport firmware seemed to be quite a lot dimmer than my computer. After I got out I checked the ...

Can you post a picture of what you mean.
I completed a dive on a computer running 10.74 and downloaded that into Subsurface and it seemed to look pretty normal.

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve never seen a 4 in the flesh but I think it includes trimix by default whereas this is an optional extra on the other computers so not actually as much extra as it first appears.

All the people I know with rebreathers just have the rebreather controller handset on one wrist, an entirely isolated computer on the other wrist and a HUD on the mouthpiece, the divers that I know don’t connect anything to their stand-alone computer. You used to see additional cell monitoring more ...

Re: Ceiling on 2nd dive
I don’t think the user is upset that deco takes longer to clear with GF high set to 65 than it does set to something like 75 or 80, I think the user is complaining that it seems to take a lot longer to clear deco on the second dive than the built-in Subsurface deco calculations based on the same gra...

Re: Is deco model correct in 3.18?
Thanks, looking at this I think it’s something broken on the Subsurface end. Downloading my old dives using older firmware versions also displays this issue on the current Subsurface but if I step back and use an older version (only tried 5.0.5 so far) they all download fine. I’ll raise this directl...

Re: Is deco model correct in 3.18?
Internal logbook seems to look correct (I didn’t think about looking there). Hopefully this is just a display thing then.
I’ll maybe the an old version of Subsurface to see what that looks like on there.

Is deco model correct in 3.18?
I've just dome a couple of dives with a computer that's recently been updated from 3.17 to 3.18 and the download looks a bit odd. In Subsurface with 3.17 the 'extra info' for the computer used to say: FW Version 3.17 Deco model ZH-L16-GF Deco model info GF 30/85 Now with 3.18 i see: FW Version 3.18 ...

Re: Bluetooth issues // Firmware update malfunction
I think I heard that in some of the newest computers there is a different Bluetooth chip (or something) and the changes to support this have not yet made it into Subsurface. There may be a new version that supports this in a week or so. There is another separate issue with Subsurface and Bluetooth c...

The plus comes with a rechargeable battery installed already, in an emergency you can use a disposable AA battery

Re: Difference btw Sport, 2 and Plus
Battery capacity too
I think the:
sport uses disposable batteries only
Plus has a small rechargeable battery but can take disposable batteries too
2 has a much larger rechargeable battery
Plus can come in nice colours, 2 is black only, I don’t know about the sport, I’ve only seen silver.

You should really post this question in this forum (https://forum.heinrichsweikamp.com/viewforum.php?f=6), the current location is for the older models.
That happens if you just leave it on the pad and don’t touch it for a long period (24 hours)?
