Only just seen this..
The outcome was it is/was a known fault but as the unit was out of warranty HW would not replace the button or unit FOC. I was offered an upgrade to a newer unit at 50% discount, which I accepted. So far I am happy with the replacement unit.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I only dive in fresh water with this unit, so not really applicable, and as for the pressure, I have tried many different pressures.. As I said, the left button works well, the right hand button no longer functions.
I'll email Matthius and see what he suggests..

Sadly, the right hand button on my OSTC2N appears to have stopped working.

Unexpecetd reset from dive model OSTC2N
Last Sunday my OSTC2n shutdown on a dive, I assumed it was the battery.. When I got home I plugged it in to a charger and it displayed the message..
"Unexpecetd reset from dive model OSTC2N"
Now it consistently crashes and reports the same message.
It's running v2.01 so I guess I should upgrade ...
