Re: Connect Mk2 to my Mac
Nice writeup. Maybe you should give it to the JDiveLog guys to update the install instructions that comes with the Readme file.

Thanks. Found it - CF 39.
If the initial setpoint is 0.7 it will change to a higher setpoint around 24m if I understand the description properly.

You need to install 64bit Virtual Com Port Drivers. I use the FTDI ones - available here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM ... tified.zip

Re: Connect Mk2 to my Mac
If all you're getting is "Port busy" type errors, try tunning jDovelog as root. If it works then you know it is because your user doesn't have the required group membership.
To run as root:
1. Open terminal
2. enter: sudo su - root
3. enter: /Applications/JDiveLog.app/Contents/MacOS ...

Re: Connect Mk2 to my Mac
Here's what worked for me on an intel based Macbook Pro:
1. Downloaded and installed the latest jDivelog
2. Downloaded and installed the latest stable RXTX
3. Replaced linrxtxSerial.jnilib in /Library/Java/Extensions with 64bit version downloaded from this blogpost

Gas Prompts?
Hi there,
I recently received my unit and have only been able to simulate dives so far. It will be a week or two before I can go diving again.
I have one question so far: is it possible to have a prompt suggesting gas switches at the depths for which the gasses were set up in the gas list?
Thanks ...
