A small reminder for customizing:
Custom text can contain up to 22 characters on OSTC 2C,and 23 characters on Mk2 and 2N.
I guess this is due to new display in 2C.
If you exceed the character count,nothing is shown.

My 2N is not responding after firmware update.
Done through JDivelog,everything went fine,confirmation dialog notified of successful writing of firmware.Since then half an hour passed,computer remains unresponsive with black screen.

Well guys,this subject is getting ridiculous already.

Recently I couldn't resist the temptation and installed Windows8 on spare partition,FTDI drivers installed manually.OSTC does connect,just it sometimes takes 20 min.to create COM port in device manager,and the usb cable doesn't matter(supposing it's not damaged or bad quality),the connection appears ...

Yep.
Should have looked in the forum on 31st. On that day after very shallow dive for 37min or so the computer did exactly the same.20min 'wait...'then unbelievable profile,on mine the 'deco green'goes all the way to the top of the screen,temp and depth similar graph as yours.

Maybe it's about time to ban uselessly configured DIVERS from buying OSTC.
Any computer will just apply algorithm to the data it recieves(depth and time) based on settings,more mainstream ones will go to error mode if reasonable limits are exceeded.OSTC will simply update the info on ...

During the first dive computer remained in standby screen with red led continuously on,after 20 minutes suddenly in dive mode and everything working.Post-dive same problem with the logbook,took more than 15 minutes to read,then same for reading the last entry(displayed correctly though ...

after update through JDiveLog from 2.0 to 2.03 beta everything was excellent.CF56 and CF57 needed to be adjusted as expected,simulation running ok.But opening logbook made me look for this:
And 2.03 beta seems not to read anything in the logbook that was dived on 2.0,after 12 minutes ...

Update: in real diving all no stop time went o.k.,after zeroing it went to deco mode without hang,starting with 1min@9m.

Same thing happens here,after planned switch to O2 at 6m that i didn't do there is red stop at 21m/1min displayed.I tried switching to O2 then back to Nx50,same warning appears.That alone wouldn't bother me,I see problem elsewhere:TTS doesn't change (!) regardless of gas selected.If that happens in ...
