Screen Flipping

Post by Gareth »

I dive a Classic kiss, the way the wiring and kidney are made the displays have to go on your left arm.

I would like to try an have my OSTC integrated with my Kiss cells.
Is there any way a software update could include the option to flip the screen 180 degrees, thereby having the fischer connector pointing up my arm and not toward my hand as it is at the moment?

Hello,

Right now there's no option to flip the screen, sorry.

Fischer also provides angled connectors, maybe this is a fast alternative for you?

Hi

Even fitting an angled fischer connector the cable is still going to be a potential snagging hazard, plus thats another failure point introduced.

Hi Gareth,

i've made a modified firmware 1.30 for you. The screen as well as the buttons are flipped. You can download it here:

Hello,

This code has now been added to the next beta (CF39=1 will flip the screen). To avoid confusion with the inlay ( "ENTER" & "SET/MENU" ) we did not exchanged the switches.

Thanks for your help, Vincent!

regards,
Matthias
