I assume that possibility to change conservatism shows while diving in divemode menu. When will it be avaliable? When diving in NDL, or only after showing first decompression stop?

While in dive mode, press the menu button to enter dive menu. there you'll find the option to change to an alternativ GF... But only if CF69 is ON!

Use right button to display @gf on the right bottom of the screen
And than use left button for Menu

You're right mate! The custom display must show GF, only then the menu
option will appear...
Somehow a strange an illogical behaviour in my eyes too...

Re: v2.90 cannot turn of CF69
well, on the second thought it's logical in some way. You must see which GF_lo/GF_hi you have set while underwater regardless of what you remember you set before the dive. Then you may change from more to less conservative in some critical situation.
On the other hand shouldn't the choice be done between 2 gf sets in "choose gf" menu regardless of what the custom display is displaying?

What if someone forgets to turn on "show gf" on custom display before the dive and some crisis ocurs underwater?

if you plan, you set
if you plan, you know what you have to do in case of crisis
if you plan, you use your brain

I don't think so. It also shows ResetAvr when the stopwatch is used...

Thx, I agree. But life shows that even if you plan, something may go wrong. There are no machines and no people who act faultlessly.

Your opinion and you're the Master
I just want to say that i don't see any reason why not to put the "Toggle GF" option into the dive menu - regardeless what is actualy displayed in the Custom View, as long CF69 is ON.
What is your idea behind the dependency of the Custom View and the menu option appearing (or not)?

There is not enough space in the menu for "Set marker", "Reset Avr" and "ToggleGF".

Ok, i see.
Suggestion: Why don't you move the "Display" option to the general settings? This is something one can set before the dive, not? I've never used this option during the dive so far...

Re: v2.90 cannot turn of CF69
Now we need only another two options from the divemode menu removed
and we have space for everything.

Just add the "More" Option (the same like in the Gaslist) to the dive menu list. Then you don't have to remove anything at all... (:D
