Inactive Gas

Post by Jean-François »

Hello peeps,

I have a question about the active/inactive gases.

When configuring my gases, sometimes they turn to the inactive color but if I go to the specific gas "More" menu it still states that the gas is active.

It usually happens when I change the first gas. My last first gas goes into the state described above.

So is the gas active or not ? and why does it shows in the inactive color.

Thanks

because depth is set to 0m. So your gaz is inactive even if its statut is active

Merci Bardass

Thanks Bardass

Since the active gas is ticked but the gas is in the inactive color, is the gas active or not ?

You are able to manually switch to this gas and deco will be recalculated to reflect this. It is currently not being taken into account with deco calculations.

we don't care that this gas is active or not: you can enable or disable a gas under water
the only impact is on TTS : TTS ignores this active gas used at 0m.
Because this gas is declared unusable before reaching the surface.
