Re: Diving Log downloader update
Hallo Bernd
Sven

Re: Diving Log downloader update
Sven,
The time recorded by the OSTC is definitely the end time of the dive, not the start time. I don't know exactly why this choice was made, but it is not a major issue.
Ciao,
Giovanni

Hello,
True, the OSTC saves end-of-dive time. To be honest, I don't know why we choose this...

Matthias

Re: Diving Log downloader update
Hello
Ups, I've never recognized this. But at least it's not a bug in my parser code
If you want I can add an option to my downloader so that the entry time is automatically calculated and stored in the logbook instead of the exit time. It would be optional, so everyone who prefers the current way would not be affected.
Kind regards,
Sven

Re: Diving Log downloader update
Sven,
that would be great.
Not that it would change my life, but every time I open the logbook I think that the clock on the computer needs to be adjusted, then I realise it is the end time of the dive
Thanks!
Giovanni

Re: Diving Log downloader update
Hi Giovanni
I've added an option "UseExitTime" in the "Advanced Settings" to control this. By default it will automatically calculate the Entrytime and store it in the logbook. If someone wants the previous behaviour you must change this setting to "True" and then the time will match with the internal OSTC logbook time.

Thank you!

Re: Diving Log downloader update
Hallo Matthias
Sven
