Installed easily using Subsurface. One thing, in the logbook, the dive number on mine is missing tiny bit of the bottom part of the number and it appears at the top above it instead.

Just noticed that this also happens on other pages, not only to the top entry. Bottom part of letters like g appear above the letter.

When re-entering the menu. Is the effect gone?

This is very strange! I have checked again now and it is not doing it. Everything seems perfect. Perhaps the computer needs to enter the deep sleep mode! Anyway, all okay now.

Hi Matthias, I just made the update to the new version 2.15 in my OSTC 2.
It has been perfectly upgraded, but I encounter a major problem: the sensitivity of the two buttons seems to have been placed on the less sensitive level. I can not access anything. My fingers already hurt, I hurt and I get nothing. Any solution?

Even the hardest setting should be useable. One little trick you can try is to cool down the unit (freezer). Cold temperatures increase the sensitivity of the buttons a lot. Then choose a lower value, like 40% or less in the settings menu.

A reboot will also fix the settings: Place unit on charger and toggle a reset with a quite strong magnet in the center of the screen until the OSTC reboots. The magnet sensor will only reset the unit while charging.

Matthias

Hatte es nach einen Update ähnlich wie Maixi, habe den TC dann einfach eine weile liegen lassen bzw. am nächsten Tag noch einmal probiert und dann hat es wie immer sehr gut funktioniert. ;-)

Hi, Matthias,
The operation did not work yesterday through the freezer.
Actually, after the upgrade and after a lot of effort he could actually press the left button, entering the menu. But the right, impossible, so I can not make the selection. Cooling the computer, it has been the same.
I have to say that I had the computer configured with the left sensitive button, I think 30% and the right 40%
There is now the option to reset it. Please give me some more details on how to do it. I place it in the base of charge and pass a magnet on the screen. Nothing more?
And if this also fails, what can I do?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, Caro,
The German translator does not behave properly and I can not understand your message. Please, could you translate it into English?
Thank you!!

I had the same issue like Maixi after an update. I just left the OSTC alone for a while and next morning I checked again and everything was fine like before.
