Hi, I made several attemps to connect my N2 to my computer and it comes a message where it says that is an unknown device and cannot comunicate. I have windows 7 and it's supposed to have some driver that should work. Do you have a driver tat can fix the problem?
Thank you

I finally could connect the N2 to my computer with the bootloader, not with diving log 5.
After loading the firmware 2.0 active gas are blu like the inactive. The only white one is the first gas. I downloaded it twice and reset the N2. Still the same problem. Can it be fixed? It's quite helpful to read at once which one is active like it was in the 1.9.
Thanx for your answer.

Thank you Longli, but I had already set three gas active (more / active gas -yes) and two inactive. The only one colored in white is th first gas. I must have tryied 20 times.I think is the new firmware that doesn't do it.
Thanx for your attention anyway,
Paolo

@ Paolo: Knl described this problem a few posts above but didn't write again that he still has the problem. Within my unit it works... maybe you should make a reset of the gas menue and try again?

Thanks again, I did indeed reset just about everything: the device itself, the gas and deco menu, decodata and logbook. No way, nothing changes. I getting sure is a bug. My device is N2, may be it works on some other model.
If you know anything more, please, let me know. This thing is rather annoing.
All the best,
Paolo

Hi I'm new to the forum and i've just started to use my new 2N ,OSTC 2798.
Paolo,
I've installed the new firmware and found no problems on active/inactive gas, but it seems necessary to set the value of "Change" parameter in the gas menu to a value greater than zero,or the gas will be inactive also if it is flagged active.
Looking the dive graph on the logbook I find two curves (profile and temperature) an one shape (in pale green) contained above the curves.
Does someone know which is the meaning of the shape?

Thanks.

Thank you Fabrizio, you are right! The defoult value sounds just like a simple calculation on PO basisis. The depth change MUST BE SET by the user to make the gas active. Not a bad idea. would have been nice to know it! Congratulations, you cleared the mistery.

The pale green shape is the deco ceiling depth.

Thanks Ed and Longli, reviewing logbook graphs at the light of your answers it seems that the "pale green shape" represents the phase of the dive out of security curve, and its area gives a measure of deco time during the dive.

Almost. The length of each green strip represents the depth at which you would need to deco stop, at that point in the dive. So if after 30 minutes into the dive there is a strip that extends down to 9m, you would need to do a 9m deco stop.

Salut Patick,

Cheers,

Hi,

after unzipping the V2.0 zip-file you have 5 different MK2-V200-stable files in your folder.
Plain is english, deutsch is german, espanol ist spanish, francais is french and russian is russian.
Choose the one you like for your MK2.
If you choose the plain file you'll end up with english.
For german choose the file "deutsch".
