I download the .zip file in the link and extract it and I get a file without hex extensions.
Same for bootloader in the download section.
Neither file works when adding the missing .hex extension or missing .exe extension.
Something wrong either at my end or your end!

Re: V1.40 Stable
Hello,
Works fine here - it was packed just as all the other releases. As usual, it contains the HEX and two text files.
regards,
Matthias

Average depth is included and tested in all modes. Stopwatch is also in the code but is not displayed yet. I was unsure where to put it on the screen.

Matthias

Re: V1.40 Stable
Ich hatte unter Linux keinerlei Probleme mit dem .zip File. Und auch die .hex ließ sich problemlos installieren.

Hello Matthias, could the stopwatch go under the current dive time in gauge mode and be started and reset with the select button? this would be really useful, thanks, simon.

Re: V1.40 Stable
hello,
what is the difference between the 1.38 beta and the 1.40 stable ?
what is the difference between the 1.38 beta and the 1.40 stable ?
Re: V1.40 Stable
First dive on 1.40 and it was nice.
The main problem encountered is the legibility of the smaller numbers (i.e. Setpoint, temperature, average depth).
They are all very legioble on the surface, but diving it is just number guessing. At leat the Setpoint has to be bigger (to make sure theright setpoint is selected).
Bear in mind I dive in caves (water is crisp clear), but with powerful lights in pitch darkness (and the water is clear long range, but short range there is some distortion when reading small numbers nearby) and this is where I find the problem.
Probably down to 100 meters (or past 70 meters) even in clear water one would have a similar problem.

Hello Reiner,
This is direct link: code140.zip and (just in case) I have it attached to this post, too. I've tested this file with a number of zip tools on different computers and systems, so if it does not work at your place - try again in 24hours.
