When 10.60 came about i didn't like the layout and with some of the software problems encountered, I chose to revert back to 10.53, which I had got used to and understood etc.
As there is now a 10.63 version and with only a few dive likely throughout the winter months,I'll have time to get used to ...

this is driving me insane as somehow i have managed to link it as suggested by Stardrowned to an OSTC3+ but now nothing again....WTF!!!!

thanks but still struggling as i downloaded Companion3 beta8 and upgraded to 10.60 brilliant or so i thought.....but now it will not recognise sport

Now i see that there is a version 10.60 to rectify the problems that I now encounterBUT HOW can i update if dive comp and PC cannot link???

have tried rebooting everything and a fully charged battery inserted prior to update to 10.58, so all full still.
Bluetooth on dive comp and PC and was all great until after update??????

I have just gone from 10.53 to 10.58 and although I dont really like the layout, I CANNOT now link to PC via bluetooth.

Whatever you have done recently seems magical to me as this is the first time that I have managed to update my sport, simply and at the first attempt and I have owed mine for a couple of years now and battled through numerous updates, each time getting more and more frustrated but now ...

Thanks for your help via email and all is updated now to 10.31 and the rechargeable battery option works well........ I just wish updating was straightforward.

using Subsurface i have done as i previously have for updates and it is the same as your instructions and all is OK until about 30% updated the red light on 'sport' and no more....tried at least 15/20 times.......please help?
did once get to 43% but more often than not only about 10% before the RED ...

I like the sport but hate the connectivity for updates and the battery problems...........I await a response from HW on another thread started by ELS concerning the battery problems!

I have been using the recommended SAFT but have just purchased 2x Keep Power as mentioned in the opening question by FELS and confirmed by Mathias as suitable for the Sport.
I will keep a close eye on battery time but have regularly experienced total and immediate battery failure once below 65% and ...

I have now used Subsurface and completed the upgrade to 10.26 even without any guidance/help from HW......disappointed to be ignored!!!!!!!!
Why can HW not get the Bluetooth to work properly and stop messing around with how to upgrade etc.

The display could possibly be bigger but apart from that it is a guide and it does exactly what it is supposed to do..........I think anyway!
