Now it works OK.
So, it was just for your statistics records of unexplained failures.

OSTC Release 3.34, OSTC HS/Out Of Service/Down !
Hi,
Last week, since I read that the new release 3.33 was available, I engaged the procedure to download it.
I got the release 3.34, why not.
When I dived this morning, my OSTC was down (see picture attached). I mean it was blocked on that screen (see below attached) when I jumped into the water ...

Re: hwOS TECH: New Firmware 3.29
I was in release 3.28. I tried to download the so-called new release 3.29, but I am now in release 3.30 (?).
What went wrong ?
What is the difference between hwOS Tech and hwOS Tech 02 ?
These 2 firmwaretypes are always available on my smartphone (HWOS Config) for choice.
Thanks for your help.

Sat/desat factors versus GF factors
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how the saturation/desaturation factors stand against the gradient factors. It looks clear to me that the gradient factors (GF) are simply a shift of the M-Values to bring more accurate stringency to the decompression calculations. However, although I understand that ...

Re: Battery completely empty
Hi,
I had the same problem. I believe it is adviseable to have a separate lithium battery charger, and a battery tester. This is cheap.
Once you charged the battery, you can check its load, and replace it in your OSTC. Then, place it again on your round shaped charger to synchronize your recharged ...

Thanks Matthias for this riveting didactic document.
However, I have still a question. In the OSTC "tissue chart" display you show on page 9, Figure 12, I see 2 sets of horizontal bars, apparently each for 16 tissues. What is the meaning of these 2 tissue bars?

I agree.
However, I received the new OSTC-GF-calculations document from Matthias, and, instead of determining the time without decostop as soon as the NDL=0 turns to decostop=3m, 1', I checked the Ceiling, and I used the simulator with the following parameters:

Hi Ralph,
Indeed, no problems to share my simulations.
Actually, I wanted to gauge the dive duration at the definite depth before a deco stop is displayed. My reference was the MN90 deco table of the french navy.
The selected depths at stake were : 9m, 12m, 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m, 40m, 45m, 50m.
