Re: Different pp02?

My 2 cents: NX50 @ 21m = 50% * 3.1 bar = 1.55 bar. If the limit is set to 1.4, the PPO2 must get red whent you change. Am I missing something?

Deco using bail out in CCR Mode

Hello,

An other nice add on the OSTC would be to have access to the deco on bail out without switching the computer from CC to OC. To get this information, I need to change to OC, wait for the deco to update, then turn back to CC.

Am I clear?

This bail out deco is the main limitation to my dives ...

Re: Feature request - CCR - Remaining scrubber time

Hi Jan,

Sorry I don't agree with you. Anything is not always useful and in this case, one just got a thing based on something already easy to measure (previous dive(s) duration). It needs to be taken into account in the dive planning and IMO that's not something hard to remember during a dive. In ...

Gorico

I agree with you on the some point but adding features for the pleasure is not a the aim of this request. I don't like to take a lot of stuff with me when I travel: right now I have more than enough for my car.

The pressure is already measured in sleep mode to have a real value for ...

Re: Feature request - barometer

I don't agree with you, gorcio. I have my own boat (which is quite small) and I'd like to have a barometer on my dive computer to be able to predict the weather. Until now I havn’t bought any VHF and I don’t foresee to do it for this boat. The complexity is not so big as the pressure is already ...

Re: Time in Logbook details display

Hi all,

I've also seen that on mine. I guess this comes from the fact that the OSTC stop the incrementation of the dive time when the diver is higher than a certain depth (CF #??) and thus you get a dive that last less than the time between its start and its end especially if you stay a long time ...

Hi,

They don't do it with GF in simulation. You can test it. I'd like to be able to set both at 100% and only play with the GF.

OSTC MKII V1.70 - Bug : saturation reset after data transfer

Hello,

I think there is a bug in the V1.70: after a data transfer there is a reset of the compartments saturation.

Several times I didn't understood why there was no saturation left after a dive but yesterday I noticed that there was still some saturation after the dives done the day before but ...

Re: Feature request: ambient pressure logging

Hi,

That’s why I said it should be easy. The implementation is limited to logging this data somewhere during sleep mode only (not too much work load for the PIC), displaying it and add this in the menu.
I was thinking about a frequency of 1 data every 2 hours for 5 days, which represents 60 time ...

Feature request: ambient pressure logging

Hello,

For the next version would it be possible to implement a barometer?

The idea is to log the ambient pressure in a table when the computer is in sleep mode and to show a graph of its evolution accessible in the surface menu. This is quite useful to predict the weather during expeditions and ...

Bug v1.70 - battery voltage

Hello everyone,

I've upgraded my Mk2 to firmware v1.70 and from that time I got a bug with the battery display: the blue bar (in my case) is going far beyond the limit just after a dive. After some time it returns to a normal situation.

Good bye.

I don't speak German yet this is what I understood (it works for me - OSTC MK2 1.70).

Install the JDiveLog without the RXTX Library because it's already installed.

Change the computer options in JDiveLog to what you got. It should be all right.

Re: Saturation/desaturation speed and deco stops question

Thank you Olivier. I tried to use the ZH-L16 OC for the simulation but something went wrong: deco stops start at 21m for a dive of 54m with 15min bottom time. I guess the simulator only works on GF model.

I'd like to be able to tune the conservatism parameter on the desaturation while having the ...

Saturation/desaturation speed and deco stops question

Hello,

I've just tried to modify the saturation and desaturation speed (custom functions 11 and 12) but this shows no effect on the simulator. I changed them from 110/90 to 220/40 but I still obtain the same values for deco.

The simulator also seems to hesitate about the deco stops even when the ...

Temperature reset

Hi all !

I just received my OSTC mk2. It’s as nice as I expected.

There is just one drawback: the temperature sensor shows a high value (28.5 to 31°C) while the temperature of the room is around 20°C. I tried to reset the temperature with JDiveLog but a message appears telling the communication ...

Re: Changing Salinity Setting

My OSTC is still on its way so I don't know yet the range of the settings.

Yet the error is maximum 0.5% if you round the salinity to dg/kg, thus about 1m every 200m. This sounds good enough, isn't it?

That should not be complicated to change in the code but maybe it's not so worthy.
