Hi everyone,

today I compiled my own .hex file in order to get the 6m feature. Now unfortunately for a reason I do not understand, my own .hex files don´t work as well as the factory compiled ones. What happens? Well, every couple of minutes the N2 wakes up, rebuilds the MD2 hash and goes to sleep ...

Re: New firmware 2.28beta

All major agencies require 5 meters, which is not possible the way it is implemented right now in the OSTC, simply because it stops counting at a few centimeters below 5 meters.
The floor of the safety stop windows should be 6m simply to allow the stop to be performed at (meaning close to) 5m ...

Re: New firmware 2.27beta

Sorry to bring this up again, but in my opinion the safety stop behavior should be changed. Most agencies, virtually all of them including several technical agencies, recommend a stop depth of 5 meters and it makes absolute sense to also support this in the device.
The way it is implemented now ...

Hallo scubatinoo,

Und das Ergebnis der Übersetzung ist in der Tat teilweise ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig und kurios, die beiden ...

Re: Wrong Depth in JDiveLog 2.16

MacDive (2.1.1) uses the max depth recorded in the logbook of the OSTC, which is already adjusted to the configured salinity.
This is the correct way to do it of course. If the depth is taken from the samples (the way Jdivelog does it) it will not factor in the salinity.

Regarding the dive time ...

Re: OSTC - Bungies / Drygloves

Hi Remco,

I tend to agree that bungees are a pain to stretch over the cuffs.
But then some are more elastic than others. The ones that came with my OSTC were really nice I must say, more elastic from the ones I have sitting in my drawer.

When switching to a thin wetsuit, I simply add a temporary ...

Hallo Kurt,
