Dann mache mal einen Reset der Einstellungen aus dem Reset Menü. Es lassen sich die div. Schwellwerte der Sicherheitsstopp-Mimik per PC-Software oder App verstellen. Irgendwas wird nicht so eingestellt sein, wie es sein soll.

Der Sicherheitsstopp in hwOS (Der Firmware für alle "kleinen" OSTC) funktioniert folgendermaßen:
- Der Tauchgang muss tiefer als 10m gewesen sein und länger als 1min gedauert haben
- Beim Auftauchen darf in 10m Tiefe keine Deko-Verpflichtung vorhanden sein
- Ein Countdown von 3min wird dann ...

I also think that the battery does not make contact. If a 1,5V battery works, a 3,6V battery will work, too. Anything between 0,9 and 4,2V is fine for the OSTC sport.

The bearing is shown with this green marker in the dive mode. Red is the counter course (+180°)

The small numbers you mention is the stopwatch which replaces the temperature when the compass is shown.
The bearing is not shown as figures in the dive mode.

The magnet reset in the OSTC 4 does the same as removing the battery and re-inserting it. This will not adjust the buttons.

Noch einfacher geht leider nicht. Ohne Strom läuft die Uhr halt nicht weiter und der OSTC stellt auf die letzte volle Stunde vor dem Stromverlust zurück. So stimmt es immerhin einigermaßen, wenn Du es vergisst einzustellen.

The old Mk.2, 2N and 2C OSTC used USB-UART Chips from FTDI (And yes, we used genuine ones from reliable suppliers ;-) - These are still 100% supported from Windows 11 and FTDI provides updates for these regularly https://ftdichip.com/drivers/

Die Daten für den "letzten TG" werden beim OSTC nicht aus dem Logbuch gelesen, sondern nach dem Tauchgang separat im RAM abgelegt. Ein "reboot", Firmware-Update oder Batteriewechsel setzen diese Werte ebenfalls zurück (Die Zeit "Letzter TG" startet neu, alles andere ist auf 0).
