Okay, here is an update.
After reverting back to an older firmware and then reinstalling the 2,70 i have seen no problems with the NDL:s in three dives.
I still wonder what went wrong but it seems like the problem is solved.

Okay, now we are getting somewhere! :)

Re: Strange NDL on 2 dives today V2.70
Are you sure the FTTS was showing NDL?
As I understand it FTTS never shows NDL and if there is no deco even if you stay the extra minutes it just shows how long it would take to ascend given the preset ascent speed. For a 33m dive it would always show 4min until it actually came in to deco.

Why it was like that on the bottom i cannot answer, i had some strange deco calculations too with the new firmware. It seemed to resolve itself with a total reset and then uploading the same settings again.

Then there were no problems. Just all gasses logged wrong, thinking i was breathing air, but the NDL and deco was fine.

Re: Weird NDL on 2,70
Hm, I reset as you suggested and then uploaded a previously saved configuration file with OSTC tools. The same config file i used to set it up when i got all the errors.
Simulation now shows proper NDL:s.
Why wrong the first time and then correct the next?

I attached a screendump from Diving log too.
You can se at min 17 where i change the setpoint down to 0.5 again the NDL drops suddenly down from around 40min to 0min.

Re: Weird NDL on 2,70
I did my first dive with firmware version 2.70 yesterday. CCR, GF 30/90 with Tx12/62 as diluent.
Started dive with SP 0,5 and switched to 1,3 at about 25m and 10 minutes into the dive. 5 minutes later I descended to 35m and saw I had an impossible NDL of 46 minutes. For reference the Shearwater ...

Okay, I´ll se what i can do. :)
1. I do not understand what is not working. The counter does not have to do anything on the way back, it´s when and if i go back in that it has to start counting upwards again. Preferably from stored gasdata but from zero works as well if one do the math.

If you are an OC diver DO NOT USE IT, you have gauges that show you the pressure and they are way more exact than any assumptions the bailcounter can give you.
If you are a CCR diver you put in 100% of the bailoutgas you think you will recuire in an event of an emergency. This means at least 1,5 x ...

NO!
It is not integrated with the decompresion calculator. All it does is multiply Average depth x Time x SAC.
If you want to use it for decompressiondives you have to plan how long stops you are going to make and how much gas you will need when doing them.
